The Clerk's Office does not accept checks sent for payment by mail. Only checks submitted over the counter by the person whose name appears on the check with appropriate identification will be accepted. A copy of a state issued Driver License/Identification Card will be made at the time the check is presented. Exceptions include: Governmental Agencies, Title Companies and Officers of the Court.
All checks must be drawn on any bank or similar financial institution in the United States pursuant to Florida Statute 28.243

Reopen fees does not apply to writs of garnishment, replevins, distress, attachments, motions for rehearing filed within 10 days, motions for attorney's fees filed within 30 days, motions for dismissal after mediation agreement filed, a disposition of personal property without administration, any probate case prior to discharge of personal representative, any guardianship pleading prior to discharge, any mental health pleading, motions to withdraw by attorney, motions exclusively for the enforcement of child support, petitions for credit of child support, stipulations, responsive pleadings, cases in which there is no initial filing fee and motions for contempt. *For purposes of this section, a case is reopened after all appeals have been exhausted or time to file an appeal from a final order or final judgment has expired. A reopen fee may be assessed for any motion filed by any party at least 90 days after a final order or final judgment has been filed with the clerk of court. |
