New website for e-check child support payments: MyFloridaRemit.com
Yulee, FL – March 29, 2011 – On February 21, 2011, the Florida Association of Court Clerks and Comptrollers (FACC) launched a new e-payment website called MyFloridaRemit.com, designed exclusively for those making child support payments by electronic check. Users making e-check payments through the current site, MyFloridaCounty.com, will have account information – case numbers, payment information, user names, and passwords – automatically transitioned to the new website. Users wishing to pay via e-check should now update their web browser to reflect the new website address. Service fees will remain the same – a flat fee of $5.00 per transaction. Now that the new site is launched, e-check child support payments will no longer be accepted through MyFloridaCounty.com, although credit card payments will continue to be accepted. The launch of the exclusive e-check website allows FACC to comply with VISA rules and regulations, allow the acceptance of VISA-brand credit cards, and avoid passing on increasing fees to users.
